Mission 4 Guide (Advanced)

This is the COMPLETE and advanced guide to The Avalanche Rescue. If you do not understand a part, look at the same step in the simple guide.

1) First, talk to G. I like to greet him by saying “How’s the coffee?” When you ask “Where can I find the life preserver shooter?” he will open the gadget room with that weird Eye Scan 3000. He will then go to a weather station in the mountains that might’ve been damaged by the avalanche seen from the Ski Village, Iceberg, and Mine Shack a while ago. Go into the gadget vault and find the life preserver shooter previously used in Case of the Missing Puffles. Also try experimenting with G’s other gadgets, they are fun to mess around with, try the Thing-a-majig 3000. LOL. You might want to remember the self-destructing letter for the end, too.

2)  Go into the sport shop. If you want to get an award with your medal after the mission, then take the belt off of the statue of the green penguin. The penguin’s pants will fall off, hence the ‘LOL’ in the simple guide.

3) To get the award, go to the Ski Village, click on the mechanical part of the conveyor belt, and place the belt on it. All done, you will get a bonus award.

4) Go to the Lighthouse. Here you can practice your drumming by clicking on one of the drums on the big set. But we’re on duty, look behind the stage in the canoe. Take the rope out and place it in your inventory.

5) Go to the Ski Lodge. Near the door leading to the frozen lake where we play Ice Fishing, take the fishing rod and attach it to the preserver shooter in your inventory. Then, attach the rope to it. There, your own penguin fishing thingamabob, this is needed to fish the penguins.

6) Go up the Mountain and go down the Ridge Run. You will have to find a correct path. But I can’t help you here. The path changes every time. There are five parts in all, after solving this you will come to crashed sleds and wreckage going over a cliff. So, lets pull out that thingamabob and get to work. Click on the cliff edge with your crazy contraption and you will have to fish the penguins out of the canyon.

7) First, click above the penguin on the loose tree. Then, your penguin will be on your preserver. Click above the penguin on the snow clump. Then, click above the tree again so a penguin will be on it. Then, click above the tree and to the right and you will pick up another penguin. Then, pick up the one on the tree. Then, move them to the very left and drop them all. Pick all of them back up after the boulder animation and pick up the last one. You will be back at the mountain.

G will ask you to look for something strange and unusual. Take the white fur near where you fixed the chairlift, it looks exactly like the one in the duct near the electromagnet on Mission 3.

9) Give it to G and receive your awards. Click “Get Letter” after getting the award and medal. The letter tells a bunch of information, and at the bottom, here is the funny part: at the bottom, it reads the following:

“PS: Do not tell anyone! This is all top secret!*

PSS: This message will self-destruct!”

* = It is not exactly what I showed

Once you exit the letter, it will crumple into a ball and explode.

Mission 4 Guide (Simple)

This is the very first guide for Mission 4 anywhere! This is the simple one, advanced one coming soon.

The bug was squashed so I was free to make this.

1 – Talk to G until he opens the Gadget Room.

2 – Take the Life Preserver Shooter in the Gadget Room.

3 – Go to the Ski Lodge and take the fishing rod near the Ice Fishing entrance.

4 – Attach the rod to the preserver shooter.

5 – Go into the lighthouse and take the rope out of the canoe.

6 – Put the rope on the preserver shooter and go to Sport Shop.

7 – Take the belt off of the green penguin statue. (LOL)

8 – Put the belt onto the mechanical part of the chairlift in the Ski Village.

9 – Go to the mountain and down the Ridge Run.

10 – Find the correct way until you see wrecked sleds, the path alternates every time you do the mission.

11 – Fish the penguins out. Full how-to in advanced guide.

12 – You are practically done. The unusual and strange thing that G mentioned will be in the advanced guide.

New Mission Glitched Up

The new mission, “The Avalanche Rescue,” came out today, along with the ski hill being closed. The new mission has new areas to explore. So far I know that you can explore these places:

- HQ

- Gadget Room

- Sport Shop

- Lighthouse

- Beach

- Ski Village

- Beacon

- Mountain (wrecked)

- Avalanched Area

- Ski Lodge

 But here is the glitch: the gadget room always has a ‘loading background’ message in the background. And even when the background was already loaded, it says that still. And whenever you go somewhere with the map or Spy Phone, all you see is a different part of the Gadget Room, but if you go the same place you went to with the map or Spy Phone again it will say you are already there when you are in the gadget room. Right now, I told CP Support, they are working on this glitch. I will write a full guide after the glitch is fixed.

The New Mission?!?

Many penguins clobbered into the Agent Headquarters last night because CP always updates at 10PM the night before in Penguin Time. They thought the new mission came that night/today but I kept trying to convince them that Billybob never said today along with three others, but they kept saying “SUE RSNAIL AND BILLYBOB!” and other stuff like that. If you were one of them, go look at the developer blog again. Billybob never said it comes out August 6.

 But the new mission will be out soon, as soon as Billybob updates the Developer Blog, it’s been forever now.

Also, I am planning a huge party on Club Penguin in my igloo. Stay tuned to CPCentral and CPForum for updates.

Where’d the avalanche go? – All Catalog secrets

 

The avalanche that could be seen from the Ski Village, Iceberg, and Mine Shack has mysteriously vanished, but the message on the Agent HQ bulletin board had a slightly edited message:

“CAUTION ON SKI HILL. AVALANCHE ALERT.”

 Also, Billybob has been mentioning about the avalanche and a new mission. Considering the HQ bulletin board, it HAS to have something to do with the avalanche. I will try to get an update in later.

Also, there will be a camping party soon. There are new stuff in last Friday’s catalog. Here are the secrets:

1) Not really a secret, but clicking on the front of the flashlight turns the light on and off.

2) Clicking on the middle of the wetsuit (the part that says CP) will show up the swimming goggles.

3) Clicking on the Headphones will make the Viking Helmet pop up. Open it 4 more times to get the blue one, and the gold one left over four months ago (luckily I got it while it lasted, MWAHAHA).

4) This long-awaited one previously only in a catalog in mid-2006: THE RED GUITAR! YAY! Click on the green dots on the black electric guitar, but you might want to make sure you have at least 1000 coins, it costs over 900.

5) Not really a secret. Fluffy the Fish still appears while clicking on the pizza on the metal handler that the penguin wearing the chef hat and pizza apron has.

And just in case – the only Furniture Catalog secret is the red throne. Wow, that one stunk. Click on the word ‘throne’ when you find the pink Princess Throne.

The Igloo Upgrade secrets:

1) Click on the crobar on the top right of the Floor Removal page to get the Secret Stone Igloo.

2) Click on everywhere it says the word ’snow’ in the whole catalog and click on the Basic Igloo’s window to get the Snow Globe.

3) Click on the door of the Deluxe Snow Igloo to get the Secret Deluxe Stone Igloo.

Whatever happened to the Secret Stone Split Level Igloo? I was going to upgrade to it before they switched to the fish bowl catalog.

Oh, and Club Penguin teamed up with Disney a couple days ago, Billybob said so on the CP Developer Blog. You can see a quick narrated movie on Disney’s homepage and clicking on the penguin icon near the bottom (http://www.disney.com/).

OH CRUD! SUNRISE! I should be getting to bed now, enjoy the catalog secrets.
