Hiya, Penguins!

You may have noticed that I have made additions to my navigation bar this morning. I added a Meebo Me widget, allowing you to PM me when I am online. A lot of bloggers have this and the widget will mainly be used for comments and help for my blog, Club Penguin help, or just random chat. In addition to Meebo, you don’t have to fill in all of the fields when commenting if you are registered with WordPress - just log in with the Meta Menu under the text boxes on the sidebar.

Also, I have fixed the problems with the moderation cue and now ALL comments will be moderated. This will reduce the bans to zero when you give your password when the Free Money Box re-opens. That also brings me to this: I was able to bar the big cheese spammer, Waddle5008, from commenting on my blog via a menu in the moderation cue, so Waddle can’t post comments here anymore. Thank goodness for that.

In the developer blog, Billybob [finally!] posted another entry, he gave this sneak peek of the upcoming Fall Fair:

That is also piping up excitement across Club Penguin because it starts in 3 days. Billybob also said that they are working on a way that almost everyone can meet the awesome seafarer, my guess is that Rockhopper will be on lots of different servers at one time. CP HQ’s tracker is STILL down and Rockhopper’s probably going to leave on the day that the Fall Fair starts, so we’re going to probably wait until next month before the tracker is up and Rockhopper duplicates himself on different servers.

Final news: I have uploaded a picture of Penguin Square right hot off of my computer for Waddle World, my fan game. You should go to http://waddleworld.forumaction.net/ to become a beta tester and access the beta lounge when the first beta version releases in 1-3 weeks or so.

Thank you for the great progress and support for me here at Club Penguin Central. Other than spam (Waddle5008 ), I have also received a lot of good comments that help support my website. I would like to give you a great big thanks. This only means one thing:

Next Friday (when the Fall Fair starts), I am going to throw a humongous party to replace the constantly postponed ones in my igloo, and it will follow pretty much the same timetable. I will try to get more info up soon.

Also, has anyone seen Rockhopper yet? I hear Boulderdash1 (http://boulderdash.wordpress.com/) is throwing together a Rockhopper Find Guide and I want us to help him with it. You can post the comments of where and when you found him here and I will get them to Boulderdash ASAP. You can also go direct to his website and post if you wish.

I thought I would have to sneak by my parents and stay up until 10:00PM PDT, but guess who arrived 5 hours early? That’s right - Rockhopper’s ship has cool new stuff, and he loaded the Lighthouse with so much cargo now, penguins aren’t paying attention to the bands on the stage. Guess what Rockhopper brought for the free item? Everyone that didn’t meet him before he started giving away special backgrounds can now get…*drumroll*…EYEPATCHES! To members, cool (but extremely weird-looking) red and white Striped Overalls for 450 coins, a jungle-gym like Pirate Ship for your igloo, at a high price of 525 coins, and a copy of Rockhopper’s Jolly Roger flag for 200 coins for your wall. Also, the Club Penguin tracker is down, I probably won’t see the cool pirate until tomorrow or Saturday or something.

Also, the 100th issue of the Penguin Times released today, it has a cool Aunt Arctic slider puzzle that gets harder every time you reset, more details on the Fall Fair, and some of Aunt Arctic’s Club Penguin memories, like the Festival of Snow, which was one of my personal favourite parties. Go check it out.

 I’m headed for some different servers and I will try to keep you updated on finding Rockhopper if and when I see him.

The illegal Waddle World just sent us two spam comments to this blog. Spam is not allowed on my comment forums on my blog. To anyone who thinks I’m copying (and to you, Waddle5008):

- I did not copy your name.

- I made up the name a LOOONG time ago (October/November ‘06).

- I was going to say it on your forum that you copied me but I would probably get banned.

- Forumotion will not delete my forum; copyrights are illegal on forums that are free and hosted.

Also, go and check the telescope at the Beacon! He’s very close! I can’t wait to see what Rockhopper brought us and when I will see him, I’m using CPHQ’s tracker to find him.

 I will keep you updated on Rockhopper’s locations, so stay tuned to Club Penguin Central after 5:00PM PDT (Pacific/Penguin Daylight Time) and wait for the locations!! But because of Rockhopper, my party is postponed AGAIN.

If you haven’t checked the telescope lately, you might want to see who comes back on Friday. Rockhopper’s return on Friday also marks the new pin being hidden and excitement being sparked when the Lighthouse gets more boxes. I wonder if Rockhopper will get mad that one box opened? LOL. I am also going to look at a Club Penguin user tracker because it is very accurate when finding Rockhopper. I hope I get the background this time! If you want to find him, go to http://sigs.clubpenguinhq.com/tracker and look up Rockhopper. It won’t find you, however, it is VERY out of date. Here at Club Penguin Central, we will keep you updated on Rockhopper’s locations from time to time, even with pictures.

 The Fall Fair is also going to be soon, I can’t wait!

 You will absolutely not believe what is going on at the illegal Waddle World, they are claiming that I was banned for reasons that don’t make sense after coolguy12 gave me an anonymous browsing thing and his password so I could see why they are completely going nuts.

Umm, yes, you are banning uncontrollably. I didn’t deserve a ban, but Waddle World deserves a total ban right off of the Internet.

They are plagerists, they are rude, inconsiderate, illegal, and are banning uncontrollably. I’m urging you not to join them.

Also, the new catalog comes out tomorrow so I’m making a grab for the new clothes since I’m well over 20,000 coins. I hope you members enjoy the new clothes tomorrow.

Yesterday, I accidentally clicked one of Rockhopper’s crates in the Lighthouse when trying to click somewhere else, and the crate fell open, revealing a box with a circus tent and a banner showing the words “FALL FA” with more rolled in the banner. According to the new Penguin Times newspaper that I read this morning, two penguins where playing hide and seek, one penguin climbed on the box to possibly try to get behind it and a crate fell open. Rockhopper is bringing cargo for a Fall Fair, coming near the end of September. That’s why we couldn’t open the crates a while ago and he left to grab more -  you can’t carry an entire fair on a pirate’s boat. Hopefully when he returns next week, we will be able to have fun at the fair and grab the free item! There are always free items at parties.

Ballistic Biscuit is being renamed. Since you can ride on a wakeboard instead of a biscuit now, they are renaming the game, although I’m unsure if they are renaming the wakeboarding game or both. You can vote in the Newspaper or on the homepage’s Penguin Poll, the names are the same on both. You can view the results for both the newspaper and the poll at the Penguin Poll after voting or clicking on “View Results” on the poll. I voted for HydroHopper, personally, it sounds like an appropriate name for the game.

Well, remember all the things about the illegal Waddle World and try to join my Waddle World forums (which are WAAAY more legal) at http://waddleworld.forumaction.net/ and wait patiently - it comes out this month around the time the fair will start!

The camping party, Camp Penguin, kicked off on Friday and I have forgotten about posting when having so much fun during the party! Too bad it ends tomorrow.

Don’t forget to pick up your marshmallow stick before the party ends! Go to the Cove, and walk over to the marshmallow bag to receive one.

The features of the party: there is a realistic changing fire in the Beach. It will sometimes have high flames or sometimes it will be out. Click on the small wood pile left of the firepit to fuel the fire with more wood (don’t you think the pile should be gone due to the number of penguins doing this?). The Ski Village and Mountain are almost untouched, just a couple plants and fences and trails. The town has the big Camp Penguin sign and more trails with the shape and colour coded signs. The Snow Forts are a big confusion full of winding trails. The Plaza is kind of camping themed, except for the plants and the trails and fences. But the thing you’ll notice first is that the Pizza Parlour turned into a mess hall for hungry campers. The special is still - what a surprise - pizza. The inside is green, the tables turned into three large picnic tables. There is messes of pizza and squid everywhere, and a wash bucket with dirty and clean dishes in the place where the desk once was. You can still play Pizzatron 3000, however. In the forest, there is barely a change. Just two trails that start and end in each other around the trees and rock in the middle. Everything else new - plants, fences, and rocks. In the Cove, you will see a large tent and a small tent to the left of the fire (you can’t go in, sadly. Lucky for us members who can turn igloos into tent). One of the logs near the campfire are gone, and there is a marshmallow bag near the edge of the log closest to the Surf Hut. Then, a major change: a waterfall going down the mountain, which turns into a river near where the speakers were in the last Member Party, and goes under a bridge and drains into the ocean. You can’t walk in the river like you can in the ocean, but you can stand on top of it. The trail leading from the Forest stairs leads to the bridge, you cross it and the trail ends at the Surf Hut for campers looking for extreme surfing. There is no changes to any other places, and the insides of all of the buildings are untouched, that is, except for the Pizza Parlour.

Also, the newspaper states that the change to the Sport Shop that Billybob mentioned is underway. Also, Rockhopper left as the party started, but according to the newspaper, he is expected to make another quick return with additions to the boxes in the Lighthouse.

It is supposed to be the celebration of the reopeing of Club Penguin Central which was not long ago. The party will be after I get my coins back up to switch from the tent back to my good old Split Level Igloo! I have screenshots of it before I upgraded, here is a little peek of it:

I was on Boulderdash1’s blog and I saw that his pizza emote was blank. I thought, “Yeah, right, your computer needs to be seen by K-Tech.” But I went on and tried the pizza emote, and it was blank!

Free Item - Stuffed Parrot - A stuffed parrot that goes on your shoulder. Personally, I like it.

Ancient Penguin Monument - 600 Coins - A weird rock monument for your igloo that looks like it came from Easter Island - LOL.

Wall Treasure Map - 250 Coins - A treasure map for the wall in your igloo. Much like ones you see that are associated with Rockhopper.

Feathered Hat - 280 Coins - Looks like a pilgrim’s hunting hat if you ask me.

Rockhopper had a kinda boring catalog this week.

 And now, to discuss this that EVERYONE is talking about:

THERE IS NO KEY TO THE CAPTAIN QUARTERS!!!

Whoever came up with this dumb myth, I will never know, but there is no key. If you see someone walk through the door, he opened his map or used his spy phone on the way there. There is actually no picture proof that there is a key for Rockhopper’s quarters on the entire web, so this concludes how there is no key.

Also, the camping party was officially named “Camp Penguin” and kicks off Friday. I can’t wait, because I love camping!

Well, we had several new surprises yesterday (or should I say 10:00PM PDT Thursday?) and I will announce them.

 I am going to show the following:

Igloo Furniture/Upgrade Catalog secrets and new stuff

First, the new stuff:

In the Upgrades, we have a new (but very little space) igloo, it is a green tent, but it is a great igloo and it is ideal for the camping party (Camp Penguin) coming next week. In the Furniture, we have a multitude of camping items, which look the best in the tent. The Camping Chair for 250, Picnic Table for 800 (ouch, with a broken down arrow key that still worked, it was hard to get Cart Surfer right), wall Lanterns for 175, a Tree Stump chair for only 50, and a Fire Pit for 200.

 Catalog Secrets: another bad catalog. Click on the word “throne” in the Princess Throne title for the Royal Throne for 750.

Igloo Upgrade Secrets:

Click on every word “snow” in the catalog for the Snow Globe and click on the window of the Basic Igloo for the Snow Globe for 3700.

Click on the crobar on the top of the Floor Removal Service page for the Secret Stone Igloo - 2000 coins.

Click on the door of the Deluxe Snow Igloo for the Secret Deluxe Stone Igloo.

The new pin is a tent, you can find it to the left of the Mine Shack.

Rockhopper left us a bunch of boxes in the Lighthouse that we cannot open until the fall. I wonder what it is.

 Billybob mentioned in the developer blog that there is a mega-change coming to the Sport Shop near the end of August.

I will try to get more pictures in later, wait for them.
